ReplyDeleteThanks Olivia. I appreciate that. Honestly, it dawned on me that I did have friends here when some people went through the trouble of inviting my sister and me to a special dinner. I was really flattered by the gesture and started to believe that maybe it is possible to strike up friendships despite the huge language barrier.
